Colour/Characteristics: Pale yellow to orange brown coloured liquid. The viscosity may vary due to the age of material used and the age of the essential oil.
Main Chemical Constituents: α-pinene, camphene, ß-pinene, sabinene, σ-3-carene, myrcene, α-phellandrene, limonene, ß-phellandrene p-cymene
Blends well with: Bergamot, cedarwood atlas, lemon. copaiba, frankincense, patchouli, lime, lavender, mandarin, neroli, sweet orange, petitgrain, sandalwood, vetiver, ylang ylang
Properties/Uses: Antimicrobial, antiseptic, antispasmodic, carminative, digestive, depurative, diuretic, expectorant, nervine, sedative, diaphoretic. May be used to help treat coughs, digestive issues, lack of appetite, indigestion, flatulence, nausea, painful joints and muscles, arthritis, rheumatism, nervous tension, irritability, exhaustion, fortifying and strengthening especially after illness and during convalescence, stress-related conditions.
Energetics: Angelica root essential oil may be used to help relieve anxiety, insomnia, nervousness, emotional imbalances, mental exhaustion. Angelica root essential oil may also be used to help ground, strengthen and fortify during times of strong emotional healing
Use: Bath, compress, massage, direct inhalation, diffuser, oil burner, oil vaporiser, ointment, balm
Safety: Non-toxic, non-irritant. Considered phototoxic (don't expose yourself in the sun for 12 hours following application). Has GRAS status. Recommended to not use during pregnancy.
