What is an attar?

An attar (also known as ittar) is a concentrated oil based fragrance derived from natural, botanical sources such as flowers, herbs, spices and barks. Attars are most commonly produced via hydro or steam distillation and are often aged to allow for the melding and the deepening of the botanical flavors. Attars are highly concentrated natural, nature-based essential oils/perfumes.

The word attar comes from Arabic and means 'fragrant' or 'perfumed'

All attars come in a 5ml amber bottle.
