Plant Part Used: The petals of the rose flower are used to extract the essential oils which are then blended into sandalwood oil, creating the final attar product.

Extraction Method: Rose Attar is produced by distilling fresh rose petals with steam in the presence of sandalwood oil. This process gives the attar its rich floral notes with a grounding and slightly woody undertone, which is the essence of what makes Rose Attar so unique.

Aroma: The fragrance of Rose Attar is warm, rich, sweet, and deeply floral, with the natural scent of roses enhanced by the smooth, grounding, warmth and woodiness of sandalwood.

Suggested Benefits & Uses: Calming, elevating, balance, peace, connection, soothing, clarity, harmonising, nourishing, rejouvenating.  May be used in skin care to help nourish and rejouvenate the skin and reduce redness and irritation.  It may also be used in perfumery, diffuser, oil burner, direct inhalation, bath, skin care, sprays and incense.

What is an attar?  It is a natural essential oil/perfume oil derived from botanical sources such as flowers, herbs, spices and barks.  they are most commonly produced via hydro or steam distillation.  They are highly concentrated natural, nature-based perfumes.
