Botanical Name: Aquilaria agallocha (commonly known as Agarwood)

Common Name: White Oud

Plant Part Used: Heartwood (from trees infected with mold, which produces the resin)

Extraction Method: Steam distillation of the agarwood resin

Aroma: White Oud Attar has a subtle yet complex fragrance, marked by a soft, refined woody note with hints of floral sweetness and a faint smoky undertone. Unlike the more intense dark ouds, White Oud is lighter, more delicate, and less overpowering, offering a smooth, warm, and luxurious scent.

Suggested Benefits and Uses: Calming, grounding, serene, clarity, compassion, love, reflection, balance, relaxing, centering, tranquility, wisdom, inner-standing, understanding.  May be used in perfumery, diffuing, oil burner, bath, massage oil, sprays, in skin care for it's moisturising and nourishing prperties and to help with minor skin irritations and redness.  Is often used during spiritual practices to help open the heart chakra, during meditation, yoga or during mindfulness practices.

What is an attar?  It is a natural essential oil/perfume oil derived from botanical sources such as flowers, herbs, spices and barks.  they are most commonly produced via hydro or steam distillation.  They are highly concentrated natural, nature-based perfumes.
